Degenerates™ is a 22-minute animated series set in Ironville—a town suspended between adolescence and adulthood, where systems continue to function long after they have stopped making sense.
At its center is a single recurring question:
When tension exceeds what can be contained…
do you resolve it through sacrifice—
or responsibility without guarantee of comfort?
Each episode follows interconnected characters navigating ordinary moments—rehearsals, arguments, jokes, silences—where small decisions quietly reshape the world around them.
There are no heroes.
There are no villains.
Only patterns.
And sometimes—music answers before people do.
From garages and stages to moments no one planned, Sofie and Wonko begin to notice something others ignore:
the world is listening.
What begins as instinct becomes invitation—
and eventually, something closer to a challenge.
Not confrontation.
Not performance.
But a question, carried through rhythm:
If you hear it… will you show up?
As pressure builds, a figure known as the Plague Doctor emerges as a focal point for blame. Removing him promises relief. Preserving him demands recognition.
The system does not reward outcomes.
It reflects choices.
